The primary purpose of this study was to determine the factors that influenced customer's preferences in choosing between Filipino and foreign-inspired restaurants. The researcher accomplished this study by utilizing a descripitive-correlation research design. A researcher made questionnaire was used in gathering data. The statistical treatment used for analyzing data were weighted mean, and Chi-square test of independence. The researchers conducted the survey at the selected and Filipino, and foreign-inspired restaurant customers at the 2nd level of the terraces, Ayala Center Cebu, with 406 respondents. Majority of the respondents were females 30-41 years old, married, college graduates, and earned between PHP5,000-18,000 per month. The study found that the factors that influenced customer's preferences in choosing between Filipino and foreign-inspired restaurants were the taste of the food, quality, price, costumer's service, and the restaurant's ambiance. The findings of the study showed that there is significant relationship between the respondent's profile and the factors that influenced the customer's preferences in choosing between Filipino and foreign-inspired restaurants.
