Summary: Summary: Internship is one of the programs that helps students to be oriented with their future roles in their workplace. This program exposes students to observe the daily activities of their future workplace. This study focused on the future internship of the third year Criminology students. The findings serve as basis in designing the propose output which help to strengthen the stability of existing pre-senior internship program that will old an effective pre-senior student. This study used the descriptive-correlation design. The study was conducted at the University of Cebu-Banilad Campus with third year Criminology students as the research respondents. The sampling technique used was the convenience sampling. The research procedure starts from the gathering of data where transmittal letters were addressed to the campus director, dean of College of Criminology and the students. Researcher-made questionnaire was utilized to gather data regarding the respondents' mental, social, emotional and physical aspect to determine whether they are ready to proceed to their internship or not. The questions will not determine if a certain student will proceed to fourth year, but it will merely determine his/her readiness to engage internship. The research considered 70 third year students as respondents. Based on the findings, it is therefore concluded that the third year students Criminology students are highly ready with their emotional, mental and social aspects in engaging themselves for internship. The findings also showed that on the physical aspect, the students need to engage to an enhancement through the action plan. The positive results only indicate that there is no need to propose another program that will substitute the existing pre-internship program in supporting the third year criminology students to become ready for their future internship.
