It utilized descriptive-correlational research design using researcher-made questionnaire. The study was conducted at Seven Sisters Elderly Homes in Mohon Talisay, Cebu and Blesses Mother Josephine Vannini Home for the aged in Barangay San Jose Talamban, Cebu. The research subjects were the elderly while the research respondents were the healthcare providers. The data were statistically treated using simple percentage, weighted mean and chi square. Based on the key findings of the study, inferences were drawn according to the category. In reference to physiological and emotional practices the healthcare provider towards elderly. The researchers concluded that safety practices were moderately practiced by the healthcare providers in selected nursing homes. Thus, the researchers recommended a full implementaion of the proposed action plan with the help of nursing homes, administrators, healthcare providers, students nurses, and the future researchers to improve the safety practices of healthcare providers towards the elderly from moderately practiced to highly practice.
