The primary purpose of this study was to determine the customer preferences in choosing a restaurant that offers a Filipino cuisine. The researchers utilized a descriptive-correlation research design and researcher-made questionnaire were used in gathering data. The statistical treatment used for analyzing data were Kendall's Tau-b and Cramer's V, and chi-square test of independence. The survey was conducted at the Kuya J located at the 2nd level of the terraces, Ayala Center Cebu,with 150 respondents. Majority of the respondents were females and married. The study found out that the customers preferences in choosing a restaurant that offers a Filipino cuisine were the taste of foods . quality , price, customers service,and restaurant ambiance. The findings of the study showed that there is no significant relationship between the respondents profile and the customers preferences in choosing a restaurant that offers a Filipino cuisine. It is concluded that the most influencing factor of customer preferences in choosing a restaurant that offers a Filipino cuisine was the taste of the food.
