The main focus of this research is to enhance the efficiency in tracking documents, there is accuracy in tracing document transactions and well-organized in transferring documents. To the client, it is hassle-free for them to view his or her document transactions. Where's My Docx? (A web-based document tracking system) helps a university track documents efficiently, accurately and well-organized. This system is important because the client can already track their documents through website by the use of internet connection, there's a trail of the document, can show the document transaction and the history of the document and can receive notification via SMS. Heavy workload and data loss problems are avoided. It was developed by the help of gathering data in different department in a University in relation to process and to know the problems encountered in every department. The researchers used the data gathered as the basis in implementing the process of the system. Where's My Docx? (A web-based document tracking system) has been successfully built and achieved all the objectives that were stated in the project proposal. The used of this web-based system brings along many benefits to all users especially the client and staff. The client could now track the documents through online and get notified of their documents when its is ready for pick up or to be claimed. The staff can view, add, update, and monitor document transactions.
