Summary: Organizations who have been recognized as globally competitive undergoes a process of evaluation. Educational institutions in order to attain and accomplish the desired standard of quality education, are likewise required by the Commission on Higher Education to go through the accreditation or authorization process.
This study aspires to evaluate the system of the community extension, to come up with action plans that would be of help to improve the quality of the extension programs and prepare it for the coming accreditation process.
From the data gathered in the study,it was found out that the respondents are fully aware of the existence services of the community but are not in full participation of its activities - especially the teaching and non-teaching staff; non-involvement of the volunteers in the decision making done for the organization; no proper recruitment of volunteers and training for the coordinators.
Based on the findings, the researcher recommended the immediate implementation of action plans for the extension services.
