Summary: This research conducted a study on the effectiveness of curfew among juveniles in Sitio Baca Barangay Apas. Additionally, this study examined the effectiveness of curfew of the above-mentioned barangay, as currently there were few writings on how the barangay officials and the residents address the issues. The objective of this thesis is to determine the levelof effectiveness of curfew in that area and to assess the barangay if there is a need for change in implementing the said law.
The study used descriptive-correlational design. The study was conducted at Sitio Baca Barangay Apas with the residents of the barangays as the research respondents. A total od one hundred fifty respondents were selected through random sampling. The researcher made questionnaire was utilized to gather data regarding the effectiveness of curfew in Sitio Baca. Data were treated using weighted mean, and chi-square test of independence.
The findings revealed that curfew in this area isn't really effective despite having a grand mean of 3.31, provisions that had the least rating such as "curfew provides less sleep deprivation" which has a rating 3.13. This means that the residents are not aware of the fact that if they followed the rules of curfew and sleep early.
