They get to do extra workload and need to balance their time for school and work. The working scholars are facing difficulties like balancing their work and study, balancing college and family and they also experience stress. The researchers aimed to identify their challenges and coping strategies in a University. This utilized the quantitative method of research. The researchers randomly picked 30% of the total population of the working scholars and were asked to answer a researcher – made the questionnaire. The information obtained were then tabulated and interpreted. The findings of the study revealed that most respondents were among the age bracket of 19-21 years old, mostly females and were level three students, from the college of Business and Accountancy mainly supported by their parents. It was clearly evident based on the study’s result which was moderately agree which means the respondents experienced the challenges often but not most of the time and coping strategies always eased their challenges as a working scholar and at the same time as a student. Based on the findings of the study and conclusion of the study, the researchers made the following recommendation; to implement the Proposed Action Plan; for future researchers, that will be able to pursue the following research problems; Level of effectiveness of the coping strategies for working scholars in University and Level of awareness of the appropriate coping strategies of the working scholars in a University ER -
