N2  - Summary: This study determined the Dog Bite Experiences and Level of Awareness on the Anti-Rabies Act of 2007, Cebu City 2018. The study adapted a descriptive-correlational method of research in gathering information using a researcher-made questionnaire with ninety-one (91) respondents from the dog bite victims who sought consult in the Animal Bite Center, Cebu City. Data were treated through simple percentage, weighted mean, and Chi-square test of independence. 
There were six significant findings, viz: (1) It was known that, most of the informants were bitten once (2) Majority of the respondents were bitten due to unprovoked situation (3) the most common type of dog bite experienced by the respondents was superficial (4) The most prevalent related injuries experienced by the respondents was laceration (5) The leading immediate treatment for those who experienced dog bite was to wash with water and apply soup (6) There is a significant relationship between dog bites experiences and the level of awareness on the Anti-Rabies Act.
The following recommendations were formulated: (1) Implementation of the proposed action plan for the areas of concern: prohibition of using tandok as an immediate treatment for dog bites, what will happen to the impounded dogs in the dog pound if not taken by owners and responsible pet ownership (2) Flyers will also be given to support and enhance their understanding towards the characteristic of the Rabies virus, and what are the ideal immediate care after being bitten by a dog (3) Even though they own the dog, they should still follow the law that states that every dog should be vaccinated, and every animal bite should be considered infectious and responsible pet ownership should always be observed (4) For future researchers, they should conduct a study in line with the effectiveness of the implementation of the Anti-Rabies Act (Republic Act 9482)
