N2  - Summary: The barangay's captain's role, responsibilities, obligations, duties, functions is to serve the people in the community. Most people believe that a barangay captain is a responsible person. Thus, it is important to determine the residence satisfaction towards the performance of the barangay captain in a barangay for a possible action plan to strengthen, if not to address the weaknesses of a barangay official.
This study utilized a researcher- made questionnaire as the primary tool in data gathering. The study was conducted in Barangay Kasambagan Cebu City. There were 70 respondents in the area of Sitio Paradise 2 which was selected randomly  as selected voters. The questionnaire was composed of two parts. The first part was the respondents' profile and the second part was the residence satisfaction towards the performance of the barangay captain. This study used the following statistical tools: simple percentage, weighted mean formula, chi- square test independence.
The findings revealed that the majority of the respondents are very satisfied with the performance of their barangay captain. There is no significant relationship between the residence profile  and their satisfactory toward the performance of the barangay captain
