The researchers aimed to identify various enabling and impending factors influencing the clinical instructors behaviors towards the enhancement of health. The study utilized a descriptive correlation design and a researcher made questionnaire that gathered significant data. Transmittal letters were processed then distributed the questionnaire with permit letters to all available clinical instructors. With the use of convenient sampling the total numbers of respondents were 88 out of 147 clinical instructors in the University of Cebu-Banilad who were currently employed for the first semester on the school year 2010-2011. Te transmittal letters were passed to Dean and Chairpersons of level II, III and IV for the permission of the study. During the gathering of data from our residence, we also presented a permit letter to the respondents along with the questionnaire. Provided with the directions in filling out for the profile and questionnaires. The respondents answered with a check mark on the different factors that influences the health promotion behavior. Data were then gathered treated statistically, analyzed and interpreted. The tool was to determine what factors were considered t highly, moderately, less and not influential to the health promotion behaviors of the clinical instructors. Majority of the respondents belonged to the age bracket of 21-40, female, single, from the Roman Catholic religion, whose taking up their masteral education this semester. The respondents considered the factors highly influential to their health promotion behaviors. The most influential is their previous knowledge, skills and knowledge and the least was their perceived vulnerability and barriers. The profile of the respondents,age, gender, civil status, religion and educational status, does not have any significant relationship with the factors that influenced the health promotion behavior of clinical instructors . With the findings and conclusion of the study, the researchers recommend that information about health promotion behaviors should be inseminated. ER -
