This research determines the type and degree of discrimination among older adults and ways to alleviate this. Research study utilized the descriptive-correlational design in a quantitative method, using a researcher-made questionnaire that offered a detailed overview of the research subjects. Majority of the respondents are women, college graduates , living with family, and relied on government support for their source of income. They were also free of any physical disabilities. Respondents reported experiencing ageism in their community because many of them were older women. The respondents experienced a greater degree of ageism in the community compared to government and family. According to the findings, there is a strong association between respondents' gender, living conditions, and physical disabilities to ageism degrees. In terms of educational attainment and source of financial assistance, however, there were no significant correlations. Based on the findings of this study, ageism is experienced by elderlies. Finally, in collaboration with the government, initiatives and services may be implemented and improved to ensure that our society's older adults and elders will face little to no ageism in the future. The research group recommends that stereotyping of the elderly should be avoided in favor of better recognition of them because each of them is a valuable source of information from which we can all benefit.
