This study intended to explore the challenges of the elderly during the pandemic to help them adapt and manage there difficulties. Researchers used a qualitative research design, specifically a qualitative explorative study design. It was conducted in one of the Barangay in Cebu City. There were eight informants in the study, and it was gathered using a fishbowl sampling technique. The informants were all interviewed via phone call following IATF guidelines. There were themes formed with six sub-themes: Theme 1: Psychological Struggles Amidst the Pandemic, with Sub-themes: Fears towards an Invisible Enemy and Frustrations Come Across. Theme 2: Succumb to Challenges Beyond Control, with Sub-Themes: Walking on a Thin Wire and Circle of Life, and Theme 3: A Ray of Hope Through the Elderly' Lens and Sub-Themes: Beating an Invisible Enemy and A Message of Hope Amidst Unimaginable Times. Despite all the challenges that informants encountered, they remained hopeful of what tomorrow will bring. Strengthening the support from family members, government and private sectors was the focus of the recommendation. ER -
