"Police patrol plays a crucial role in maintaining public safety and order, acting as an effective tool for crime prevention and boosting public confidence, especially in urban areas. Patrol officers serve as a visible presence of law enforcement within communities. This study focused on evaluating the effectiveness of police patrol strategies used by Police Station 1 in Pari-an, Cebu City. The result was the basis for a proposed action plan. This research employed a descriptive-correlational design, using a researcher-made survey questionnaire. A face-to-face survey was conducted among the two hundred sixty-three (263) residents in Barangay Pari-an, Cebu City. The respondents were chosen using a randomized sampling technique. The data were then analyzed using frequency distribution, weighted mean, and Chi-Square test of independence, adhering to ethical principles of respect, beneficence, non-maleficence, justice, and autonomy. The findings showed that police patrol strategies employed in Police Station 1, Pari-an, Cebu City were found to be highly effective in promoting public safety and enhancing trust in law enforcement. Furthermore, profile of the respondents as to gender, civil status, work status, and years of residency do not affect the perception of the level of efficacy of police patrol strategies employed in Police Station 1, Pari-an, Cebu City. The evidence gathered reveals that respondents observed the effectiveness of the strategies being employed by the police officers. This suggests on maintaining its positive impact.
