"Human trafficking has become one of the most controversial issues globally nowadays, in which the government of each country battling it with great difficulties. Anchored mainly on the Family Resilience supported by Strain Theory and the Routine Activity Theory, this study sought to measure the level of awareness among parents about the signs and risks of human trafficking to help the parents strengthened their preventive strategies in combating human trafficking. The research design utilized in this study is a descriptive correlational survey. As a way of gathering data, this study employs a researcher-made questionnaire seeking to answer queries about the profile of the parents and the level of awareness among parents about the signs and risks of human trafficking. A face-to-face survey was conducted among the parents in Barangay Dapitan, Cordova Cebu. The parents were chosen in a convenience sampling technique. The data were then treated using frequency count, simple percentage, weighted mean, and Chi Square Test of Independence. The research followed the ethical principles of respect for beneficence, nonmaleficence, justice, and autonomy. The findings show that majority of the parents is under the age of 37-41. Moreover, these parents are commonly females and are high school graduates and belonged in the nuclear type of family. Furthermore, the parents are highly aware of the signs and risk of human trafficking. This study concludes that there is no significant relationship between the respondents' profile and parents' level of awareness of the signs and risks of human trafficking. The proposed community action plan can significantly strengthen parents' awareness of the signs and risks of human trafficking by providing structured, consistent, and accessible education through seminars, orientations, and information drives. It ensures that parents are equipped with practical knowledge to identify red flags, understand risk factors, and know the correct agencies to contact for help."
