N2  - K-9 dogs are one of the significant security measures employed by law enforcement globally. K-9 dog refers to specially trained dogs by their handlers occasionally known as "cynologists". These specific dogs along with their handlers are sometimes referred to as K9 units in several sources. Experiences of K-9 units in contraband detection at Cebu International Port will contribute to the community's and citizens' safety as it will help in ensuring the prevention of entry of contraband inside Cebu. K-9 dogs, with the aid of their great olfactory senses, are excellent at keeping away the entrance of contraband inside the locale, through detection. The researchers aim to unleash the experiences of K-9 dogs in detecting ammunition, explosives, and illicit drugs. Additionally, the researchers investigated other factors that affect K-9 dogs' performance in contraband detection
