N2  - Public safety plays the biggest role in a community, ensuring peace, order, and the protection of citizens' rights and interests. Safety is crucial for creating human security, maintaining stability, and supporting the well-being of the people. In Barangay Pulpogan, Consolacion, Cebu, numerous crimes such as rape, illegal drug activities, and murder have been reported, raising concerns about the effectiveness of local safety measures. These incidents have not only affected the security of the residents but have also instilled fear and mistrust in the community. Therefore, this study was conducted to understand the experiences of implementing public safety initiatives by Barangay and Police officials in maintaining peace and order within the community, and how these efforts shape the overall safety environment
