N2  - Over the years, crime has continued to rise, often attributed to the lack of visible and responsive law enforcement presence. In local communities, the presence and quick response of both police officers and barangay tanods play a critical role in reducing crime and enhancing public safety. Strategic visibility and responsiveness of these authorities can deter criminal activities and lower the risk of victimization. This study focuses on examining the crime prevention strategies implemented in Barangay Talamban, Cebu City, particularly assessing the roles of police and tanod visibility and responsiveness. The findings served as the foundation for a proposed action plan to strengthen community safety efforts
