This research undertakes a comprehensive evaluation of composite materials derived from coconut coir and banana pseudo-stem fibers, assessing their potential for application in the production of environmentally sustainable bags. While prior investigations have examined the individual characteristics of coconut coir and banana pseudo-stem fibers, a systematic analysis of their combined performance within a practical application context, specifically for bag manufacturing, remains underexplored. This study addresses this gap by subjecting samples to rigorous mechanical testing to ascertain their suitability as an ecologically responsible material. Experimental methodologies and ANOVA were employed to evaluate the mechanical properties of samples formulated with varying ratios of coconut coir and banana pseudo-stem fibers. Specifically, weight capacity tests were conducted to determine the load-bearing capability, and tensile strength tests were performed to quantify the material's resistance to tensile forces. The findings demonstrate that the samples exhibited satisfactory performance in both weight capacity and tensile strength tests. meeting or exceeding predetermined benchmarks. Thus, suggesting that coconut coir and banana pseudo-stem fiber composites present a viable alternative for sustainable bag production. This research contributes to the growing knowledge base on natural fiber composites and their potential to replace environmentally harmful materials, advancing sustainable material science." --Abstract ER -
