N2  - "This study was conducted in order to investigate the potential of calamansi in addressing insect infestation and chemical repellent attributed problems. The study aimed to address the problem of insect infestation and diseases that are attributed to it. In this case, the researchers employed a mixed methods experimental research to address the foremetioned problems, wherein the findings are as follows: that the calamansi repellent repelled all the samples of the different insects (mosquitoes, cockroaches and flies), that it can possibly be stored at room temperature without the usage of any appliance or special equipment, with no alterations to the characteristics and that it incurred lesser costs as compared to its chemical counterparts. In conclusion, the repellent is therefore effective as it was able to exhibit its performance with no insect sample exempted, and that it also has advantages as no changes in the calamansi repellent occurred during the 21-day period it was stored at room temperature, and that it is practical as there is a significant difference between the prices of the chemical and calamansi repellents, wherein the calamansi repellent emerges as the cheaper option." --Abstract
