N2  - "The study aimed to create a skin-friendly perfume free of additives and harmful chemicals that commercial perfumes may have. Guava is known for having antioxidant properties and being easily affordable. Two methods (distilling and cold press) were used in making the essential oils to see which method could efficiently separate the oil from the guava pieces to use in adding it with carrier oil to make perfume. The testing technique for this study is blindfolding the students to give a rating to the homemade perfume qualities to commercially made perfumes. It was found that the organic perfume was found to have lower fragrance intensity and significantly shorter longevity compared to commercial perfumes indicating the differences in formulation or ingredients between homemade and commercial products that impact fragnance and longevity." --Abstract
