"This textbook is written for the specialized Senior High School subject Business Ethics and Social Responsibility under the Accountancy, Business, and Management (ABM) track in the K to 12 Curriculum. It discusses the fundamental concepts and ethical standards that govern the business environment.

The book consists of four units with nine lessons which include exercises and tests that enhance further learning and understanding of the basic principles and theories of corporate social responsibility and good management.

Each unit opens with Let's Read and Ponder which features selections and discussion questions for a more thorough grasp of the lessons discussed in the unit.

To facilitate learning, each lesson features the following exercises:

Key Words tests students' knowledge of the key concepts discussed in the lesson.

Review Questions examines students' comprehension through questions about the topics discussed.

Ethical Issues encourages critical thinking and reasoning through case studies detailing real-life business scenarios.

Self-Examination lets students apply the concepts they learned in their lives.

Finally, Unit Tests provide a summative evaluation of students' learning and understanding of the topics and concepts discussed.

At the end of the semester, the students are expected to gain a basic understanding of how companies and their stakeholders should act responsibly to uphold not only their interests but also the welfare of society at large.
