N2  - "Learning styles are learners' preferences in learning. The teaching-learning process should focus on the learners' learning styles, as people differ in how they prefer to learn. This study determined the students' learning styles, and the results will be the basis for the proposed strategic teaching guide to strengthen students' holistic experiences in the classroom.

This study utilized the descriptive-correlational research method to determine the learning styles of second-year Bachelor of Elementary Education [BEED] students. The researchers used a standardized questionnaire. In doing so, the gathered data was face-to-face. The researchers used the data treated through simple percentages as the basis for computing the profile of the participants, including their age, gender, and general point average [GPA]; weighted mean will analyze the data about the learning styles that the learners will be using, chi-square test of independence will be utilized to ascertain the noteworthy correlation between participants' profiles and the learning styles. The participants of this study were (85) second-year Bachelor of Elementary Education [BEED] students using a simple random sampling method.
This study determined the learning styles of the second-year Bachelor of Elementary Education [BEED] students of the University of Cebu-Banilad Campus during the first semester of the School Year 2022-2023. Based on the findings, a significant relationship existed between the preferences of learning styles among elementary education students. These findings support the theory of Neil Fleming, the VARK model, which categorizes individuals into four distinct learning style preferences based on how they best process and retain information. There is a significant relationship between participants' age, gender, GPA, and learning style, as obtained in the computed chi-square values, which were more important than the critical values." —Abstract
