Unlike classroom learning, these activities provide students with opportunities to develop essential life skills such as teamwork. leadership, communication, and time management. This study aimed to determine the correlation between the level of student participation in co-curricular activities and their academic performance among Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEED) students for the School Year 2023-2024 at the University of Cebu-Banilad Campus. To explore the relationship between these variables, the study utilized a descriptive-correlational research design. Data were gathered using a researcher-made questionnaire that was validated through a content verification procedure. A total of 187 respondents were selected using stratified random sampling. The demographic profile of the respondents was analyzed using frequency counts and simple percentages. Descriptive statistics, such as the weighted mean, were used to summarize perceptions and behaviors, while the Chi-square test was applied to identify significant associations between variables. The findings revealed notable patterns and relationships between participation in co-curricular activities and academic performance. The use of validated instruments and appropriate statistical methods ensured the reliability of the results. These outcomes suggest that co-curricular involvement may have a meaningful impact on students' academic success, emphasizing the importance of promoting balanced student development through both academic and non-academic engagements." —Abstract Adult by Michelle Ann S.
