"Reserve Officers' Training Corps [ROTC] program is believed to instill discipline and teach the essence of patriotism among young Filipinos and students. It is seen provide opportunities to inculcate character-building and provide training that will hone the leadership skills of the students. This study aimed to determine the insights of criminology students at the University of Cebu-Banilad on the ROTC program since there were significant contrasts on the perceptions of students, citizens, and other concerned individuals on the implementation of the program and its incorporation in the educational curriculum. This study utilized descriptive-survey research design and was conducted among the second year and third year Criminology students in the University of Cebu - Banilad. The respondents were seventy-four second year students and seventy-one third year students and were chosen using a stratified random sampling technique. This study utilized a reliable researcher-made survey questionnaire as the primary tool in data gathering on criminology students' profile and their insights on the ROTC program in the university. The researchers have adhered to the ethical principles of beneficence, non- maleficence, justice and autonomy. Frequency count and simple percentage, weighted mean, and Chi-square test of independence were used to treat the gathered data. The study revealed that the second year and third year Criminology students have positive insights on the ROTC program implemented in the university during their freshman year. Also, the study was able to show that students' age, gender, and year level had no significant relationship to their insights on the program. The study concluded that second-year and third-year criminology students acknowledged the benefits of the implementation of the program and appreciate its purpose.
