N2  - "The Fire Safety Awareness Program is an instructional effort designed to equip individuals with essential knowledge and practical skills in fire prevention, hazard identification, and emergency response. This study examines residents' evaluations of the Centro Fire Substation's program across prevention, preparation, and mitigation, addressing gaps in previous studies through a holistic, community-based assessment of its effectiveness.

The study used a descriptive-correlational design to analyze the relationship between residents demographic profile and program evaluations, involving 368 selected participants from three barangays using reliable Researcher-made questionnaires.

Results showed that most respondents were female, aged 25-31, married, long-term residents (11 years or more), and high school graduates. Further analysis indicated no significant relationship between respondents' age, gender, civil status, and highest educational attainment and their assessment of the program in terms of prevention, preparation and mitigation. However, there is a significant relationship between length of residency, and their assessment of the program in terms of prevention, preparation and mitigation. These findings indicated that while the Centro Fire Substation's Fire Safety Awareness Program is operational and beneficial, improvements are needed to better meet community needs and enhance fire safety outcomes." —Abstract
