This study will discuss and suggest a possible creation of a law specially intended for same-sex couples that will govern the legal effects of their union as they assert to reap the benefits given to married couples. The writer gives her views by legality and substantive reasons and not to assume that the basis of opposition is hate, bias or other such negative motivations. The literature reviews relies on actual Supreme Court cases, here and abroad, opinions from different sectors of society, religious or secular, and analysis of the writer's study of the law and personal experiences as she is shaped and influenced by her faith, thoughts, formation, and education.
