The core problems that the application addresses are: the gap between the deaf-mutes and abled people; and the unawareness of the user specifically the abled people with American Sign Language . To provide solutions to it, HearMe Spell allows the recognition of the hand gestures particularly finger-spelt basic American Sign Language and the translation of its specific definition respectively. HearMe Spell is an offline service therefore users can use it without the interference of the internet. I is also has features like Talkee, Favorites, tutorials , and Help.
