This study determined the extent of computer utilization as the assessment of sleeping patterns and class performance of the Nursing and Midwifery students of a university to formulate an action plan. Specifically, this study determined the profile of the respondents, the extent of technology utilization. the sleeping patterns even with the use of gadgets and their grade point average. A descriptive-correlational research design was used in this research. There were 78 respondents and this study utilized a combination of a standard questionnaire upon the permission of Dr. Kimberly S. Young and a researcher made questionnaire. The statistical formula used were simple percentage, weighted mean, T-test, Pearson R and Chi-square test of a relationship. The findings of this study revealed that majority of the respondents were 19-20 years old and female nursing students. Majority also utilized computer 2-5 hours a day and sleeps less than 7 hours and had fair to good class performance. Therefore, the extent of the respondents computer utilization has an effect on their sleeping patterns which also has a positive relationship to their academic performance.The action plan scheme that includes the awareness and seminar about recent computer technologies, improvement of sleep patterns and class performances should be implemented ER -
