N2  - Summary: The researchers would want to have this study since after a 2-week rotation, students usually had their own enjoyable stories to tell but also had sighs of how stressful the duty had been to them, to the point where they need to cope up with it first before being able to give their best lectures. Even within the rotations, stress brought about by going out-of-town usually seems to be an alibi for not being able to perform procedures well or accurately provide inputs on needed written documents.

The study utilized the indirect method (questionnaire) in collecting very essential data that could bring out the success of the research study. Non-experimental approach was also utilized in the study to gather important facts and data. These had been analyzed and interpreted.

Basing on the results, communication, a stress management technique, had the highest weighted mean which means that this had been mostly utilized by the fourth year student nurses. Civil status, among the identified profiles of the respondents, was also found out to have a significant relationship with the degree of utilization of stress management techniques. Its correlation is moderate positive.

In the light of the findings and conclusion of the study, the researchers recommend that a brochure be made and implemented that will be directed towards increasing awareness, expansion, and enhancement of Stress Management Techniques that can be used by student nurses during their out-of-town duties
