This study determined the hygiene practices among grade six pupils in a selected public school. Specifically, this study determined the profile of the respondents in age, gender and their hygiene practices. It also determines the significant relationship between the profile of the respondents and their hygiene practices. This study utilized a descriptive-correlational research design. A pre-testing was conducted at Hipodromo Elementary School; thirty questionnaires were distributed to test the reliability and validity of the research instruments. The researchers then proceed to the actual data gathering in camp Lapu Lapu Elementary School. There were 141 respondents randomly selected through fish bowl method. Majority of our respondents were males and were 11 years of age. There was no significant relationship between the age of the respondents and their hygiene practices. Hygiene practices are not dependent on the respondent's age and their is a significant relationship between the gender of the respondents and their hygiene practices that implies that as soon an individual reaches puberty stage he or she will be able to practice more of the standard hygiene practices. Thus, researchers recommend that teachers will monitor and re-enhance pupils of the moderately practice standard hygiene practices for further development of the individual. ER -
