This study seeks to determine the common problems in the current document filing system of the Cebu City Regional trial Courts and to identify the legal implications to the rules of procedure when the court adopts an automated filing system like what the other foreign courts are doing. After the evaluation, this study further explores the different kinds of filing systems as presently implemented by foreign courts and the corresponding implications in the framework of the rule of court if the Philippines will adopt such type of system. However,if the courts employ the automated filing system, the current rules on filing and service of pleadings have to be changed ER -
