N2  - Summary: Youth are the future leaders of the society. It is essential for them to be educated and be aware on the happenings in the society. The society must develop them to be open-minded on the different situations and trained them to be law abiders. There are various causes why youth committed crime be it social, peer, economic, and family condition.This study aimed to determine the profile of the respondents, factors influencing youth to commit crime. the proposed on giving additional program, activities to the Barangay's to avoid youth from addicted to drugs leading to commit crimes. This study utilized a descriptive-correlation design in assessing the respondents' profile and the survey regarding factors influencing youth to commit crimes. The study considered thirty (30) respondents from the personnel of the Operation Second chance. A researcher made questionnaire was utilized in data collection. This study was conducted at Barangay Kalunasan, Cebu City, Operation Second Chance. Statistical tools used to treat data were simple percentage, weighted mean, Chi-square test of independence, and Cramer's V. The findings revealed that the majority of the respondents were within age range of 30-36 years old, female, married, and viable to drugs. The respondents perceived that individual factors were slightly influential why youth committed crimes while social, peer and environmental factors were moderately influential for youth to commit crimes. The respondents indicated that family factors were highly influential for youths to commit crimes. The profile of the respondents such as age, civil status, and viability had significant relationship with their assessment on the factors why youth commit crimes
