TI - Quality of nursing care and patients' satisfaction: proposed seminar PY - 2007/// CY - Cebu City PB - University of Cebu N1 - Thesis (Degree of Bachelor of Science in Nursing) -- University of Cebu- Banilad, 2007 N2 - Summary: Quality of nursing care is essential in the nursing field. Unfortunately, nowadays, due to the scarcity of local Nurses, the quality of nursing care is being compromised. In connection with this, the researchers would want to assess the quality of nursing care given by the nurses and the satisfaction on the care received by the patients at Lapu-Lapu District Hospital. The mentioned hospital was selected since most of the members of the researcher had their related experienced. The main reason why the researchers came up with the study is to improve any deficiencies with the care being rendered to the patient and to provide better holistic and patients oriented care of Lapu-Lapu District Hospital. King's theory of Goal Attainment focuses on the interpersonal system and the interactions that take place between individuals, specifically, in the nurse-patient relationship. In the nursing process, each member of the dyad, perceives the other, makes judgments, and take actions. Interactions results and, if perceptual congruence exist and disturbances are conquered, transactions occur. ER -
