This qualitative study utilized descriptive phenomenology research design to understand the experiences of the museum experts in preserving and sustaining Spanish-colonial museums in Cebu. This research was conducted at the selected Spanish-colonial ancestral houses that operates as a museum in Cebu. Transmittal letters and informed consent forms were secured before proceeding to interview five museum experts. Purposive sampling was used and thematic analysis was applied in the interpretation of data. This study explored the experiences of museum experts in managing Spanish-colonial museums in Cebu, Philippines, C.Y. 2023-2024 and their sustainability measures.
