Summary: Summary: The researchers inquired over a prevalent yet unresolved phenomenon of the awareness and participation of student nurses toward PSNA. As a foundation for the study, we based it on relationship awareness theory which states that motives are basic antecedent of behavior, these are the "why" of what we do;and that we are only motivated to participate in an activity once we are aware of it. This study determined the level of awareness and participation of student nurses in Philippine Student Nurses Association's Activities (PSNA), school year 2007-2008, the findings of which was the basis for a proposed seminar. Specifically, this study sought to answer the following questions: 1.1 age; 1.2 gender; & 1.3 year level? 2. What is the level of awareness and participation of the student nurses in PSNA activities? 3. Is there a significant relationship in the level of awareness and participation of the student nurses in PSNA activities in terms of: 3.1 age 3.2 gender; & 3.3 year level? 4. Is there a significant relationship between awareness and participation of student nurses in PSNA activities? 5. Based on the findings of the study, what seminar can be proposed? The null hypothesis states that there is no significant relationship in the level of awareness and participation of student nurses in PSNA activities in terms of age, gender and year level. There is no significant relationship between awareness and participation of student nurses in PSNA activites. Research Methodology An ex post facto design was used to describe the analysis of an already prevalent occurrence. A pre- testing was done to 50 respondents that represented the year levels 1-4 at the University of Cebu- Lapulapu and Mandaue Campus, college of nursing. The setting chosen was more or less having the same characteristics with the real setting. It was done to evaluate our research tool. The study was conducted at the University of Cebu- Banilad asked to supply honest answers over a three-minute timeframe using Likert scale with four numerical scales and equivalent qualitative statements. Gathering of data was done within a day. Sloven's formula and quota smaple was applied in acquiring sample population; whereas, chi square was harnessed in determining relationship between variables. The researchers also use simple percentage to extract the sample population; sample mean formula was used to interpret the level of awareness and participation of the respondents; the range mean was utilized to get the average of the respondents answers; and the Pearson-r to determine relationship of variables. Summary of Findings Most of the respondents belong to the age bracket of 15-18 years old (55.65% of the sample population); majority was female (65.32% of the sample population) and belonging to the third year level (30.38% of the sample population).Majority of the student nurses are not aware (comprises a grand mean of 1.69) and do not at all participate(comprises a grand mean of 1.64) in PSNA activities. As to awareness and age, with a computed chi value of 22.92 and a critical chi value of 12.59 tested at 0.05 level of significance, decision was to reject the null hypothesis. With a computed chi value of 7.68 and a critical chi value of 7.82 tested at 0.05 level of significance, as to awareness and gender, the decision was to accept the null hypothesis. According to awareness and year level, with a computed chi value of 23.6 and a critical chi value of 16.92 tested at a 0.05 level of significance, the decision was to reject the null hypothesis.With regard to participation and age, a computed chi value of 20.79 and a critical chi value of 12.59 tested at a 0.05 level of significance, the decision was to reject the null hypothesis; participation and gender, with a computed chi value of 9.19 and a critical value 7.82 tested at 0.05 level of significance, the decision was to reject the null hypothesis; participation and level, with a computed chi value of 27.09 and a critical chi value of 16.92 tested at 0.05 level of significance, the decision was to reject the null hypothesis. For awareness and participation, with a computed r value of 0.74 and a critical r value of 1.98 tested at 0.05 level of significance, the decision was to accept the null hypothesis.For most of the computed values were higher than the critical values thus the researchers rejected the null hypothesis hence there is a significant relationship between awareness and age as well as awareness and year level; age,gender and year level with participation; and accepted the null hypothesis hence there is no relationship between awareness and participation and a very strong positive relationship between awareness and participation. There is no significant relationship between awareness and gender. Conclusion Based on the findings of the study, the respondents are not aware and do not all participate in PSNA activities.There is a significant relationship in the level of awareness in terms of age and year level. There is also a significant relationship in the level of participation in terms of age, gender,and year level.There is a very strong positive relationship between awareness and participation.There is no significant in the level of awareness in terms of gender. Recommendations Based on the findings and the conclusion of the study, the researchers recommend that the proposed seminar to be implemented will be directed towards increasing awareness and participation among student nurses to Philippine student nurses and programs. Furthermore, the following recommendations are formulated: 1. That the association shall conduct school-to-school information drive to advertise their name. 2. That they should encourage every nursing student body organization to a lot a space in their respective bulletin boards where they could post updates regarding the Philippine student nurses association (PSNA). 3.Advertise the association's website to draw users via the Internet ; then the interactive purpose shall be obtained. 4.Tap with member schools in various significant activities and events so as to increase student's awareness towards the association. 5. The following titles may be utilized by other researchers to conduct an intensive research: (1) Transformational and transactional Leadership styles among PSNA officers: Proposed Leadership Enhancement Training; (2) Awareness and participation of student nurses among randomly selected nursing schools in Cebu City toward PSNA activities: proposed seminar; lastly, (3) Planning, Organizing,& leading of PSNA Officers:proposed management seminar.

Recommendations
Based on the findings and the conclusion of the study, the researchers recommend that the proposed seminar to be implemented will be directed towards increasing awareness and participation among student nurses to Philippine student nurses and programs.
Furthermore, the following recommendations are formulated:
1. That the association shall conduct school-to-school information drive to advertise their name.
2. That they should encourage every nursing student body organization to a lot a space in their respective bulletin boards where they could post updates regarding the Philippine student nurses association (PSNA).
