Summary: The study determined the level of satisfaction on the benefits provided in the senior citizen law. In terms of the age, profile, most of the respondents were within the age bracket 60-63 years old, mostly females, married and college level.
In terms of the benefits provided in the senior citizens law, the respondents were only less satisfied on the dental benefits, burial benefits, utility benefits, discount on transportation, educational payment discounts, cash allowances, and food discount. In general, they were only less satisfied on the benefits.
The researchers strongly suggested that the government should continually provide the benefits stipulated, support research study included and government programs be evaluated.
