Technology's evolution has brought about a lot of changes that has improved man's life in many ways. It has continued to become a tool for new inventions, innovations, and opportunities. Modern technology has most improved our lives through convenience, efficiency, and accessibility. With technological machine people are getting help in every sector. Technology also has a great impact in transportation. Enhancement of the urban transportation quality is obtainable through the innovative changes which need technology to help the automation of the fare payment. The aim of this project is to design and develop a Pay To Go System using components. The project is divided into two phases. A hardware development phase and a software development implementation phase. The hardware phase consist of electronic hardware whereas the software consist of various modules to implement stability of our system. Pay-To-Go system helps the drivers in terms of handling and calculating the fare and it can help the passengers by giving discounted fare specifically to students, senior citizen and person with disability and ensuring the security that the passengers needed in riding vehicle. This system only accepts specific coins like Php 5.00 and Php 10.00. This system uses V-model in developing. During development, each phase can be verified and validated at the same time. This study uses hardware tools, checking and validating hardware functionality will be done.
