The research design was descriptive-correlational, and by four sections of the high school department of the University of Cebu-LM campus were utilizing as respondents. The study determined also the profile of the respondents in terms of age, fender, year level, residence religion and family size. Transmittal letters were processed asking for permission to conduct the study in the University of Cebu -LM campus. There were 115 respondents composed of 3rd and 4th year high school students in UC-LM campus with the total population of 382 students of 3rd and 4th year students. Random sampling technique was used in determining the respondents. The research environment was in University of Cebu-Lapu-Lapu & Mandaue campus. A research made questionnaire was utilized and treated using simple percentage, weighted mean, and chi-square. Test of independence. The findings revealed that majority of the respondents age bracket was 16-20 and majority were female and the total results showed that 2.91 which are moderately aware in all aspects of researcher made questionnaire about the level of awareness among high school students. It is concluded that majority of the high school students in the University of Cebu-Lapu-Lapu Mandaue were moderately aware about sex education because according to Goldman (2011), sexuality education is important and essential for all young people. To know about and understand sexuality a significant part of oneself and others. Therefore, it is important in the university needs to conduct a seminar regarding sex education to the students.
