"Teaching is the most noble profession focused on transferring knowledge and motivating future generations. Effective delivery of lessons is very crucial to teachers as it helps the learning outcome of the learners. Despite its importance, many aspiring teachers, especially student teachers face challenges in lesson planning, managing classrooms, and delivery of content impacting its effectiveness as a teacher. The study determined the factors that can influence the initial teaching demonstration among the second-year BEED students, requiring effective teaching strategies. This proposed research study aimed to investigate the factors that influence the second year students during their initial teaching demonstration. Based on the findings, the researchers created an infographic to provide second-year Bachelor of Elementary Education students with a methods and tips to enhance and improve their teaching demonstration.

The study used a descriptive correlational research design to investigate the factors that influence the Bachelor of Elementary Education [BEED] student's performance in their initial teaching demonstration at the University of Cebu- Banilad Campus. Targeting the second-year students' section 2B who enrolled in EED 010 (Teaching Literacy in the Elementary Grades through Literature), with a total of 46 students utilizing a purposive random sampling technique. The study utilized a researcher-made survey questionnaire and reviewed by the statistician and the assistant professor from the Psychology Department at the Cebu Normal University, which consists of three (3) sub-parts to comprehensively gather the data. The University of Cebu- Banilad Campus Research Ethics Committee (UCAREC) certified the study to ensure protocol compliance. Upon approval, the researchers distributed informed consent forms (ICF) and the questionnaires to the respondents through google forms in the group chat, maintaining confidentiality by securely stored on a USB flash drive to protect the participants' information, and the digital copy of the answered survey questionnaire will be deleted completely after a period of two years under the Data Privacy Act of 2012. The data acquired was analyzed through simple percentage, weighted mean, chi-square tests, and pearson moment correlation coefficient (pearson r).

The findings reveal that most of the respondents were female BEED students aged 21-22 years old. The key factors influencing the performance of second-year BEED students in their initial teaching demonstrations included preparedness, confidence level, support from mentors, and classroom management skills. The study highlighted the importance of comprehensive teacher training programs that focus on these areas to improve the effectiveness of future educators. Additionally, the infographic developed from the research findings serves as a practical guide for second-year BEED students, providing actionable tips and strategies to enhance their teaching demonstrations and overall teaching competence." —Abstract
