Human needs are any physiologic or psychological factors necessary for a healthy existence. Maslow's hierarchy of needs states that all humans are born with instructive needs. This provides a framework for recognizing and prioritizing basic human needs (Craven, 2004:62 ). Teaching strategies are those activities that are conducted by a teacher to enhance the academic achievement of the students.
