Summary: Summary: This study determined the factors contributing to the incidence of diarrhea cases among children aged 0-5 years old in Barangay Pasil and Ermita as identified by their mothers. This study utilized a descriptive research design. There were 141 total respondents in Barangay Pasil and Ermita. Purposive sampling technique was used. A researcher-made questionnaire was utilized using relative frequency and simple percentage formula in interpreting the profile of respondents and determining the contributing factors to diarrheal incidence. The findings revealed that majority of the respondents identified that a large quantities of exposed feces in the environment as the top factor contributed to the incidence of diarrhea among their children. The action plan would provide the awareness to the residents for them to take an action and responsibility on how to prevent increase incidence of diarrhea.
