Many young people are experiencing the consequence of drinking too much, at an early age. This study determined the perception of effects on alcohol consumption among the youth in Barangay Talamban regrading personal, social and health aspect to formulate an action plan. This study utilized a researcher-made questionnaire as the primary tool in data gathering. The study was conducted in Barangay Talamban Cebu City. It was completed with 50 respondents in the area through random selection. The questionnaire was composed of two parts. The first part was about the respondents profile and the second part was about the youth's perception on alcohol consumption. This study used the following statistical tools: simple percentage, weighted mean formula, and chi-square test independence. The finding revealed that the majority of the respondents were males, within age range of 18-20 years old, an in college level. The youths strongly agreed to the effects of alcohol consumption in terms of social and personal aspects. Furthermore, the youth poorly agreed to the effects of alcohol consumption in terms of health aspect. There is no significant relationship between the profile of the respondents and their perception on effects on alcohol consumption.
