This study seeks to discover the pricing strategies in each of their service packages in terms of basic to premium packages and customized packages and how managers deal with their strategies when pricing their packages offered.
This study used a case study approach aided by a self-designed interview guide. Hence, it had to be content validated, aimed at improving the accuracy of the questions on the topic studied, and knowledgeable in pricing strategies. This approach seeks thorough insights into the complexities and unique aspects of pricing decisions made in the funeral industries. This study was conducted at the selected funeral homes in Cebu City, Philippines. Eleven (11) managers from the selected funeral homes in Cebu City are involved in this study. The researchers sought permission and obtained a certificate to conduct and gather the data; the data then were subject to thematic analysis, ensuring that the study adhered to ethical considerations.
The following point was developed in response to the pricing strategies of service packages employed by selected funeral homes: Part (1): Strategies Applied in Setting Prices of the Funeral Homes: (1.1) Basic to Premium Packages: (a) The Art of Casket Design: Aesthetic Choices Influences Pricing in Funeral Packages. (b) Crafting Adaptive Pricing Strategies: Balancing Client Preferences and Cost Consideration. (c) Domino Effect.
