520 _aSummary: This study aims to determine the factors attributed to the successful examinees passing in the Nursing Board Examination especially those who were graduates in the University of Cebu- Banilad Campus, College of Nursing. This study utilized a predictive- relational research design using a researcher- made checklist type survey tool. There were 293 research participants, who are graduates of Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree at the University of Cebu- Banilad for the span of five years. The analysis of data applied simple percentage, multiple regression and One- Way Annova. There significant findings revealed that majority of the respondents were in the age group ranging from 20-23 years old. Age distribution further revealed that a majority belonged to age 21. As to gender, most of the participants were females. Moreover, all of them used to be regular nursing students and studied in the university within the academic years 2011-2012, wherein larger population of students are catered during that time and had steadily declned throughout the years. Further, the factors that are essential in the participant's successful passing in the licensure exam and a significant positive result are unveiled in term of success in the said licensure exam. These accepts pertain to the academic performance, psychological preparation of each graduates, economic constraint, which made them more eager and resilient with the examination process, whereas vital support from their family, peer and the university itself contributes to their success. Therefore, it is concluded that the perception, preparation, readiness and readiness of the takers serves as stimulus in enabling them hurdle the Philippine Nursing Licensure Examination.
