520 _aSummary: Public perception can be defined as the community commented on the firefighter response during the fire incident. Public perception is the opinion of the community if they agreed or disagreed on how the fighter reacts to the situation. The main duties and functions of Bureau of Fire Protection are to combat the fires, control not to spread the fire and protect lives and property. The study was conducted at Barangay Apas, Sitio Baca, Cebu City with the residents as our respondents. The research procedure starts from the gathering of data where transmittal letters were addressed to the campus director, Barangay Chairman of Apas, Cebu City and to the residents. Researchers made questionnaire was utilized to gather data regarding their public perception of the BFP's response in terms of relationship to he community, the responsiveness of the BFP's and communication. The research considered 150 residents as respondents.Based on the findings,it is therefore concluded that the public perception of the BFP's response to the fire incidents in Brgy. Apas Sitio Baca very satisfied wit the BFP's response in terms of relationship to the community, the responsiveness of the BFP's and communication.
