520 _aSummary: This study was conducted to determine the knowledge and the extent of implementation of Integrated Management of Childhood Illnesses Concepts among student nurses of University of Cebu. The questionnaire contains three parts: first is the profile of the subjects, secondly the level of knowledge and lastly the extent of Implementation IMCI concepts among the respondents. After retrieving the data, the results were tallied and interpreted. Based on the data collected, analyzed and interpreted, the findings were as follows: (1) Profile of the Respondents-majority were under the age bracket of 17-19 years old, mostly females were from level 3 and 4. (2) Knowledge and level of implementation- the respondents are knowledgeable with the concepts of Integrated Management of Childhood Illnessess gathering a grand mean average of 3.20. As to the level of implementation of the said management, respondents gathered a grand mean average of 3.23 which implies respondents are partially implementing the concepts. (3) Relationship between the knowledge and level of implementation-there is a significant relationship between the knowledge and the level of implementation of Integrated Management of Childhood Illnesses concepts among the respondents. Based on the findings of the study, the researchers concluded that respondents are knowledgeable and partially implementing the Integrated Management of Childhood Illnesses concepts. Recommendations drawn includes a suggestion to conduct an in depth study on IMCI utilization in the school affiliated hospitals and adapted community. Futhermore the researchers recommend to implement the action plan.
