520			_aAbstract: This study aimed to identify pregnant women's challenges and coping strategies in accessing prenatal care and other health care services essential for a healthy pregnancy amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. The study utilized a multi-method research design. The data was obtained using the researcher-made questionnaire that consists of three parts. The statistical tools used were the frequency and simple percentage, weighted mean, and ETA squared statistics with ANOVA. Through the purposive sampling method, a total of 23 mothers were selected. The determined respondents are residents of Barangay Gun-ob and attended prenatal checkups during the general community quarantine. Most mothers belonged to the age range 22-25, 26-29, and 29-32 years old, around 1-3 months and 4-6 months of pregnancy , unemployed, had 1-2 children, single, and those who were employed had monthly income of less that 9,000 college graduate, and far from the health center/hospital. Results have revealed that the challenges of obtaining prenatal care during the COVID-19 pandemic do not impede nor interfere with the mother's compliance with the prenatal care. It also showed that the informants have developed coping strategies and have adjusted to the so called "new normal" in terms of finances, transportation, arranging appointments, and proximity from home to the clinic. There is no significant relationship between the respondents occupation, number of children, and educational attainment. However, there is a significant relationship between respondent's age, age of gestation, civil status, monthly income, and location/ proximity during the pandemic in accessing prenatal care. Therefore, mothers in the barangay had developed coping strategies to adapt amidst the COVID-19 pandemic to adhere to prenatal care appointments. Continuation of the implementation of health protocols during the COVID-19 pandemic is recommended. In addition, a proposed action will no longer be needed as planned during the proposal hearing as it was being justified on the results of the data gathering coming from the respondents' responses. The results showed that the mothers were coping very well and continued accessing prenatal checkups despite the ongoing pandemic.
