520 _aAbstract: Small and Medium Enterprises [SMEs] are broadly regarded as the economic backbone of every country. They are essential contributors to total employment and job creation, playing a pivotal role in economic development and contributing significantly to work and Gross Domestic Product [GDP]. This study aimed to assess the cash management practices employed and the extent to which cash management practices lead toward the attainment of financial stability and efficiency in Barangay Talamban and Barangay Banilad, Cebu City. This research applied the descriptive-survey method and was conducted among the selected DTI registered SMEs from Barangay Talamban and Barangay Banilad, Cebu City. The respondents are owners of Buy and Sell type of SMEs composed of 22 owners from Barangay Talamban and 14 from Barangay Banilad. Moreover, this study utilized a researcher-made survey questionnaire to gather data on the cash management practices of small and medium enterprises and the extent to which cash management practices lead toward the attainment of financial stability and efficiency. Weighted mean and One-Way ANOVA were utilized to analyze the data. The research revealed that the cash management practices of SME's were highly applied. Also, the extent to which cash management practices lead toward the attainment of financial stability and efficiency was strongly agreed by the respondents at great extent. There is a significant difference between the cash management practices and the extent to which cash management practices lead toward the attainment of financial stability and efficiency. The researchers recommended that the SMEs adopt and implement the proposed cash management premier as the output of this study.
