520 | _aAbstract: The system was developed in order to reduce the garbage in our society and to have a clean environment and a healthy living. The machine is powered by a solar panel where it will charge the rechargeable battery. For the people, there are three Light emitting Diodes (LED) that will serve as the status of the garbage bin. If the green LED will turn on, it is normal mode and the garbage bin is ready for throwing garbage. If the red LED will turn on, it means that it is in compacting mode and not allowed for throwing of garbage. And lastly, if the yellow LED will turn on, it means that the garbage bin is fully compressed at its maximum level and its time to pick up by the garbage collector. | ||
